Are you or is your child between the ages of 8 and 21 years old? Do you have friends at A Place Called Home or you’ve heard about us? Do you like what you see on this website? If you answered yes to all of those questions, you and your family are welcome to explore the possibility of membership at A Place Called Home!

Everything is free and the rules are simple:

  • Commit to attending at least three days per week (most of our members love it so much they attend five days per week)
  • No weapons
  • No violence
  • No gang signing or recruiting
  • No cursing
  • Respect self and others
  • Respect the APCH environment
  • Participate fully
  • Contribute good energy to the community

Currently A Place Called Home offers transportation to our center from the following schools:

  • Synergy Kinetic Academy
  • Synergy Quantum Academy
  • Synergy Charter Academy
  • Quincy Jones Elementary

  • 32nd Street USC Magnet
  • 28th Street Elementary
  • Center For Advanced Learning

Keep in mind that A Place Called Home is not a recreation center. We have a whole lot of fun here, but we also work hard. Everything we do, whether it’s sports, music, dance, field trips, art, gardening, games, or anything else, is all designed to help you get ahead and have a great life and future and for you to be someone who makes a positive difference in the world.
