South Central candidates clash over policing, housing, neighborhood investment
Los Angeles mayoral and L.A. City Council District 9 candidates faced questions about policing, homelessness, immigration and economic development at a community forum in South Central on Saturday.
Held at non-profit center A Place Called Home, the forum featured Mayor Karen Bass, mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, and District 9 candidates Jose Ugarte and Estuardo Mazariegos.
