Empowering South Los Angeles Youth: Programs & Services at A Place Called Home
Comprehensive Support for Brighter Futures
At A Place Called Home (APCH), we offer a wide range of transformative afterschool and summer programs designed to meet the diverse needs of South Los Angeles youth and their families. Our holistic approach focuses on building social, emotional and economic success through academic support, arts education, mental and physical wellness, and career preparation and more. Together we can help young people build successful, fulfilling lives.

“I realized that I would learn things at APCH that I wouldn’t be able to learn in high school. Not only did I learn music skills but also the professionalism and common practices you need to know to be successful.”
– Tony, APCH alumnus

“Strong values were highlighted, and the one that has stuck with me is accountability because that is something I struggled with and had to develop as my identity was being shaped. I had role models of strong women and learned I shouldn’t shy away from who I am.”
– Maricruz, APCH alumna
